Chapter 22

Marigold

It’s now or never, so I decide to make an announcement.

“I’m ready.”

The guys’ heads snap towards my direction and I feel powerful when all of their eyes are on me.

For a moment, it’s as if time stands still. Their expressions remain frozen in place. Gunner furrows his brow, causing a wrinkle between his eyebrows. He’s clenching his teeth and flexing his square jaw. Rex’s lips are curled into a small, cautious smile, but his eyes look wary and Zeke looks so thrilled that he might just jump out of his chair.

“Are you sure?” Rex asks, peering at me. He reaches for my hand and interwinds his fingers through mine.

“I’m sure,” I answer, meeting his devious green eyes. He stares back at me, searching my eyes for honestly, and then he licks his lips slowly.

I feel a tingle between my legs. Rex is looking at me as if I’m about to be devoured.

“Let’s finish our drinks, gentlemen,” Rex says, still staring as he tilts back his head to drain his last drops of whiskey.

Zeke quickly downs the last of the liquor in his glass before standing. “Let’s go,” He says, holding out his hand to help me from the booth.

Zeke wraps his arm around my waist as Gunner leads the way, holding open the door to exit the hall. I feel Rex’s hand, warm on the small of my back, guiding me back to their bedroom, and occasionally dipping lower to fondle the top of my ass.

The heels of my boots click against the tiled floor and my heart is pounding. My palms are sweaty. And, worst of all, I have to pee. I can’t believe that I’m really going to do this.

Gunner flings open the door with a thud, leaving it wide open while he strides over to his dresser. It’s right next to the bed and I’m not quite ready to go there.

I clear my throat, feeling Zeke’s hand around my waist and Rex’s palm on my back.

“If you’ll excuse me, just a moment,” I say, not waiting for a response before scampering off to the bathroom.

Once the door is closed behind me, I lean against the wood and take a deep breath. Once I’m calm enough, I use the restroom and carefully wash my hands. I’m trying to think of anything, other than the imminent carnal sin I’m about to commit.

But I’m not backing down now. I’m about to sin, but at least I’m damn sure that I’m going to enjoy it. After one last look in the bathroom mirror, I brace myself and swing the door open.

I am surprised to find the lights dimmed. When I blink, I realize that the guys have lit some candles. There’s soft music playing and the loft-like space seems more inviting, or even romantic. The couches are empty, but when I look towards the bed, I see the three sexy bikers, all waiting for me.
